Cottage Information

Bosun's Whistle was, at one time, the home of a ships carpenter and it has many original features. A small lobby leads to compact lounge/kitchen/diner with original beamed ceiling and coal effect electric fire set in a granite fireplace. Stairs lead to a twin bedroom and shower room with under floor heating, shower, toilet, whb and heated towel rail. From the landing stairs lead to two bedrooms, a twin room with WHB and COL TV/DVD and single room.

Facilities: Two flatscreen Freeview TV's. (32" in lounge, 19" in bedroom) 2 DVDs, Electric cooker. Microwave. Fridge. Duvets, No Bed Linen, (please bring sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers). Linen can be hired from Rainbow Hire on 01736 797090. Travel cot. Wall mounted panel heaters in bedrooms. Electric included. Well behaved pets allowed. No parking but public car parks nearby where you can buy a weekly ticket. Shops/pub/restaurant/beach 50 yards. NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. £100 Damage Deposit payable on booking, refundable after satisfactory inspection.

St Ives and Carbis Bay Area

Bosun's Whistle is a Grade II listed authentic semi detached fisherman's cottage set in the heart of the popular Downalong area of St.Ives. It is just around the corner from Porthgwidden beach and the superb surfing beach of Porthmeor. The harbour, shops, good restaurants, art galleries including the Tate are a short walk away.
