Cottage Information

Samphire House is an exquisite house with wood floors. Downstairs is a lounge with woodburner, separate dining room and well equipped kitchen with steps to a small outside courtyard with garden furniture and an outhouse which houses the freezer, which is also useful for storing beach gear. Stairs lead to the first floor where on the landing is the washing machine and tumble dryer. On this floor there are two bedrooms, a double and a bedroom with twin beds, both having sea views to the island and across to Gwithian and Hayle. The bathroom is a good size with bath with shower attachment, whb and toilet. There is also a small snug room which can be used for relaxing or for putting a cot. Steep stairs lead to the attic bedroom which has a double bed with en-suite shower room with shower, whb and toilet and this room has magnificent sea views over the Atlantic Ocean to Hayle and Gwithian.

Samphire House is a fine double fronted Victorian terraced house located in the popular resort of St.Ives. It is just 250 yards from the well-liked Porthmeor surfing beach, the town centre with its many up-market shops, art galleries, restaurants and harbour where you can go on fishing trips, hire self-drive boats, take a trip to see the seals or just sit on a bench, relax and watch the world go by.
