Cottage Information

Steps take you to the front door. There is a very comfortable lounge with double sofa bed and views over to Hayle. The well equipped kitchen/diner has a back door with steps leading to the rear entrance. There is a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and whb and a utility room housing the freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with an Adjustamatic bed, a bedroom with twin beds, colour TV and distant sea views and a shower room with quadrant shower, whb, bidet and toilet. More stairs lead to a large attic bedroom with a 6' bed, distant sea views and en-suite with bath which has a shower attachment, whb and toilet. Storage room (lock up) for surfboards and beach gear is available in a very large box in the garden.

St Ives and Carbis Bay Area

Huckleberry is a modern built semi detached house located just 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of St.Ives. There is a regular bus service which runs from the town to near the property. St.Ives is famous for its winding streets, striking harbour and beaches. There are four beaches, Porthmeor for surfing, Porthgwidden a small attractive beach, Porthminster well suited for families and the Harbour beach. St.Ives has had a long association with many famous painters and sculptors and the town has the well-known and popular Tate Gallery.
