Cottage Information

The Ramparts has retained many original features including beams and some wood floors. On the ground floor is a welcoming good size lounge/kitchen/dining room with slate floor which has a step separating the lounge area and fitted well equipped kitchen area. Stairs take you to a wet room with shower, whb and toilet, a second lounge and a room with two single beds, this room has no wardrobe but has hanging hooks and storage. Stairs from a landing take you to two more bedrooms, a room with a double bed (room for a cot) with whb and a room with 3' wide bunks and whb. On this floor is also another room which can be used as storage.

Facilities: Colour TV's. DVD. Electric hob and oven. Microwave. Fridge/freezer. Dishwasher. Washing machine. Duvets. No bed linen, please bring sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers or can be hired from Rainbow Hire on 01736-797090. Gas central heating. Gas and electricity included. No parking but public car parks where you can buy a weekly ticket close by. £100 damage deposit payable when booking and refundable after satisfactory inspection. Shops/pubs/beach 400 metres. This is a non smoking property.

St Ives and Carbis Bay Area

The Ramparts is a splendid three storey terraced house refurbished to a good standard located right in the heart of the old fishing quarter of St.Ives. It is just minutes away from the well-known surfing beach of Porthmeor and the harbour where you can go on fishing trips, hire a self-drive boat or take a trip to Seal Island to see the seals and perhaps the dolphins. St.Ives is a very popular holiday resort and is full of flower filled secret courtyards, unusual unique shops, cobbled streets and lanes, art galleries and a superb selection of good restaurants.
