The town overlooks the once thriving harbour which was previously the lifeblood of the town. The beach has a restaurant and café along with toilets on hand. If you want to watch the sun set while on your St Ives cottage holiday, Porthmeor beach is an ideal choice.

Porthgwidden beach is a blue flag rated sandy cove that has beach huts for hire and nearby toilets. The cove is a sun trap, so especially ideal if you want to spend the day lazing in the sun. There is a café and a kiosk for drinks and snacks.

Porthminster beach offers calm waters and blue flag status. The sandy beach is over a mile long and is ideal for families to enjoy. The beach also has a restaurant and café as well as beach huts for hire.
