Cottage Information

This charming cottage, part of the original entrance to the estate, has a lovely sunny location with its own garden, adjacent private parking and north views across the terrace and pool. It is comfortably furnished and well appointed. The covered archway entrance leads into the attractive living room with patio door into the south facing garden. Dining area overlooking woodland, and open plan fully fitted kitchen. Upstairs to two bedrooms, one spacious double overlooking the terrace and pool and a further room with a single bed with pull-out bed under with garden and woodland views. Bathroom including bath with shower over, toilet and basin.  Facilities: Colour TV /DVD. CD player. Radio. Wifi Broadband. Microwave. Electric hob and cooker. Dishwasher. Washing machine. Kingsbridge Area

This lovely 18th century country estate has been beautifully restored to provide top quality self-catering accommodation with a range of superb facilities, located in an unspoilt green valley in the heart of the South Hams. There are 28 acres of private grounds, including woodland, wild flower meadows, a walled orchard and a lake. Outdoor activities include a kidney-shaped outdoor swimming pool (heated during the summer season), a hard tennis court, boules and croquet, coarse fishing and stabling for guests to bring their own horses. Indoor facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. All in all, there is something here for everyone, and plenty of quiet corners to just sit and enjoy this beautiful spot - if you are lucky you may encounter some of the wildlife here, a glimpse of a deer or badger on a summer evening. Colmer has close links with the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, approx 15 minutes drive away and guests have the benefit of 25% discount on holiday membership, which gives access to all the health and leisure facilities as well as the championship standard golf course.
