Cottage Information

Situated in the former old mill at Colmer, Mill Cottage has been completely restored and is immaculately furnished and recently redecorated throughout, with new double glazing and new gas fired central heating. With views of the outside pool from the rear, the cottage is perfectly situated for the many leisure activities on site. Entrance door leads to a good size open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. Stairs up to the first floor with double room with king size bed and a single room with bunks. Family bathroom including bath with electric shower over, wash hand basin and toilet. Stairs leads to the second floor with double room with king size bed and a single room with a single bed. Family bathroom including bath with electric shower over, wash hand basin and toilet. Facilities:42" flat screen TV with Freeview. DVD player. Hi-Fi music system. Selection of books, DVD's and games. Washing machine. Fridge with ice box. Microwave. Electric cooker & hob. Bed linen & towels inclusive (please supply your own beach/pool towels). Travel cot. High chair. Stairgate. Two well behaved pets accepted downstairs only. Parking. Kingsbridge Area

This lovely 18th century country estate has been beautifully restored to provide top quality self-catering accommodation with a range of superb facilities, located in an unspoilt green valley in the heart of the South Hams. There are 28 acres of private grounds, including woodland, wild flower meadows, a walled orchard and a lake. Outdoor activities include a kidney-shaped outdoor swimming pool (heated during the summer season), a hard tennis court, boules and croquet & coarse fishing. Indoor facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. All in all, there is something here for everyone, and plenty of quiet corners to just sit and enjoy this beautiful spot - if you are lucky you may encounter some of the wildlife here, a glimpse of a deer or badger on a summer evening. Colmer has close links with the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, approx 15 minutes drive away and guests have the benefit of 25% discount on holiday membership, which gives access to all the health and leisure facilities as well as the championship standard golf course.
