Gamekeepers Hide is an individual charming stone cottage, offering a perfect spot for couples and families wishing to get away from their busy lives. This lovely little cottage is very warm, cosy and welcoming. Equipped to a 4-star standard and imaginatively furnished with bright Mediterranean colours. The cottage is light and bright all through the day. The indoor pool is allocated beside the cottage, just a few steps away. The front entrance leads into an attractive light and airy open plan lounge and lovely dining area. Newly fully fitted kitchen, well equipped for all your needs. Stairs lead to two pretty, light and bright bedrooms, one a double bedroom and the other with twin beds. Family bathroom with shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet. The patio to the front of the cottage with its lovely garden furniture looks over the wonderful, walled Victorian garden and orchard. Facilities: 32" flatscreen TV and DVD. Radio and CD player. Microwave. Fridge with small freezer. Electric oven and hob. Dishwasher. Bed linen, towels are inclusive (please bring your own pool/beach towels). Travel cot, highchair and toddlers buggy. Electric and gas inclusive. Security deposit of £50 payable at the time of booking. Laundry facilities and payphone are located on site. No smoking.

Kingsbridge Area

This lovely 18th century country estate has been beautifully restored to provide top quality self-catering accommodation with a range of superb facilities, located in an unspoilt green valley in the heart of the South Hams. There are 28 acres of private grounds, including woodland, wild flower meadows, a walled orchard and a lake. Outdoor activities include a kidney-shaped outdoor swimming pool (heated during the summer season), a hard tennis court, boules and croquet & coarse fishing. Indoor facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. All in all, there is something here for everyone, and plenty of quiet corners to just sit and enjoy this beautiful spot - if you are lucky you may encounter some of the wildlife here, a glimpse of a deer or badger on a summer evening. Colmer has close links with the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, approx 15 minutes drive away and guests have the benefit of 25% discount on holiday membership, which gives access to all the health and leisure facilities as well as the championship standard golf course.
