Hope Cottage is located in the original malting house of the estate, and has been tastefully furnished in modern style whilst retaining the stone features and character of this delightful property. The private, enclosed courtyard provides an ideal setting for evening barbecues and relaxation. The front entrance leads into the attractive living room with comfy sofas, dining area and open plan fitted kitchen. Upstairs to two charming bedrooms - one double and one twin room with full-sized bunk beds. Bathroom with bath, overhead shower, toilet and basin. Rear entrance to lawned garden behind the cottage. Facilities: Colour TV. CD player. Microwave. Electric hob and oven. Fridge with ice box. Washing machine. Bed linen and towels inclusive. Travel Cot & Highchair. Electricity and central heating inclusive. Garden furniture and BBQ. Security Deposit £100 payable at time of booking. Laundry facilities and payphone on site. No smoking.

Kingsbridge Area

This lovely 18th century country estate has been beautifully restored to provide top quality self-catering accommodation with a range of superb facilities, located in an unspoilt green valley in the heart of the South Hams. There are 28 acres of private grounds, including woodland, wild flower meadows, a walled orchard and a lake. Outdoor activities include a kidney-shaped outdoor swimming pool (heated during the summer season), a hard tennis court, boules and croquet & coarse fishing. Indoor facilities include a heated indoor swimming pool and a fitness room. All in all, there is something here for everyone, and plenty of quiet corners to just sit and enjoy this beautiful spot - if you are lucky you may encounter some of the wildlife here, a glimpse of a deer or badger on a summer evening. Colmer has close links with the Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, approx 15 minutes drive away and guests have the benefit of 25% discount on holiday membership, which gives access to all the health and leisure facilities as well as the championship standard golf course.
