If you're taking one of the great Pembrokeshire cottage holidays this Christmas, there's plenty of seasonal cheer to be had in the region, with many of the Christmas illuminations already setup.

This past weekend saw the lights switch on across the county, with visitors to destinations such as Milford Haven, Fishguard and Haverfordwest enjoying lantern parades, fireworks and festive decorations. Narberth's Winter Festival, the first of its kind to be held in south west Wales, also proved to be a popular attraction, with hundreds attending to see the festive floats, walkers and costumes in the stunning illuminated parade.

The illuminations will stay on throughout December and tie in nicely with late night shopping in the region, so if you missed out on the main event you can still get a taste of the festive season. The success of the Narberth Winter Festival also means that it's likely to return next year.
