New street market now open in Tenby

The people of Tenby have praised the opening of a new street market in the town, saying that it's arrival will be instrumental in bringing a welcome boost to the town's trade.

Opening in the South Wales town last week, it features many stalls selling all manner of items such as produce, arts and crafts and even souvenirs of the region – with the latter sure to be popular with the many tourists who are looking forward to their Tenby cottage holidays this summer.

The outdoor market will feature in Tudor Square and will spread up towards the High Street. It will initially be held twice a month on Wednesdays but this could easily increase should the demand continue to build. If you happen to be visiting the area during the summer, why not visit the market to pick up the perfect presents for your family and friends back at home?
