The picturesque region of Pembrokeshire remains top of the league when it comes to Blue Flag Beaches, boasting more than any other local authority in Wales.

The stunning county, which regularly attracts thousands of holidaymakers from across the UK, has scooped 11 of the prestigious awards – the same amount as last year – adding to the highest number of Green Coast and Seaside Awards already collected.

Award winning beaches include the likes of Broad Haven Central, Newgale, Tenby Castle and Whitesands, and Deputy Leader of Pembrokeshire County Council Huw George said the accolades showed that 'Pembrokeshire is one of the top spots in Britain to enjoy a beach holiday'.

Book a break for you and your loved ones in one of the wonderful cottages in Tenby today and see for yourself why thousands of people flock to the region on their British vacations every year.
