It is renowned for its gorgeous coastline that has inspired artists throughout the ages, and attracts thousands of holidaymakers every year.

Now, the name and landscape of Pembrokeshire has inspired head writer of The Simpsons, Josh Weinstein, to join forces with Cardiff-born Tim Fishlock to create a new children's book about Sir Benfro – an intrepid adventurer who is captivated by the natural wonders on offer in the region.

The release of Tim Fishlock's gaming app Sir Benfro's Brilliant Balloon last year attracted the attention of the legendary American producer Josh Weinstein and the pair hope to fund the £16,000 of printing costs through crowdfunding website Kickstarter.

Billed as 'Terry Gilliam-esque' in its style, there are high hopes surrounding the book that could mark the start of an exciting collaboration.
