The UK is currently experiencing one of its warmest summers of the decade, and sunshine and warmth have attracted many people towards some of the top holiday hotspots in the country. The Pembrokeshire coast is one of these, and the area has been enjoying some of the warmest weather on record.

Mean Air Temperatures recorded at the Cleddau Bridge have revealed that people in Pembrokeshire enjoyed highs of 28.96°C on Thursday 19th July, which is the highest temperature ever recorded at the bridge since electronic records began in July 2001. This beats the previous July 2006 record of 28.2°C, and this new record could again be broken as the sunny weather is set to continue.

This fantastic weather is set to continue for at least the next few weeks, making now the perfect time to stay in Pembrokeshire with friends and family. Pembrokeshire has plenty of beaches that are ideal for a cooling dip in the sea, plenty of attractions that can provide some welcome shade and lots more that make it the perfect summer holiday destination.
