There has been a noticeable increase in the number of holidaymakers in Wales according to tourism figures in the country who are celebrating the effect of the heatwave.

After the best July for many years in terms of weather, tourist levels in a number of popular areas of the country surged dramatically. A spokesperson for Visit Wales said that the weather had given a huge boost the tourism industry, with many people snapping last minute deals and heading to the coast to make the most of the sunshine.

Pembrokeshire has always been one of the most popular destinations in Wales, offering sublime coastlines, dramatic countryside vistas and a wealth of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. If you are looking for the perfect destination to enjoy your getaways this summer, booking into one of the holiday cottages in Pembrokeshire offers the perfect experience you seek.
