Tenby harbour has been celebrated in a recent online poll, with the landmark being voted as the second most beautiful coastal area in the whole of Wales.

While the impeccable Rhossili Bay took the top spot in the poll, which was collated by readers of WalesOnline, the harbour of the Pembrokeshire town was awarded a close second place, seeing off the likes of Three Cliffs Bay, Mwnt and Pennard Cliffs in the process. Another area in Pembrokeshire which scored well in the poll was Marloes Sands, sandwiched between Rest Bay and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast to finish in seventh place.

Featuring a stunning beach, as well as the unmistakable Caldey Island in the distance, the vistas which can be achieved from Tenby Harbour are breathtaking whatever the time of year. Combining the great views with the bustling town of Tenby, full of tradition and charm, it comes as little surprise that it is visited by so many people during theirĀ Pembrokeshire cottage holidays.
