An article published by The Daily Express has highlighted the beauty and appeal of Tenby as a holiday destination, with the writer offering nothing but praise and plaudits for this picturesque area of South Wales.

Written by Paul Gogarty, the piece explains how the coastal sanctuary served as the inspiration for both Roald Dahl and Beatrix Potter, with the latter having sketched what later became Mr McGregor's vegetable garden in the Peter Rabbit tales while holidaying in the town in 1900.

He also mentioned the wealth of fun and excitement which can be found in Tenby, suggesting that a ferry trip to nearby Caldey Island is an absolute must for anyone visiting on their Pembrokeshire cottage holidays.  Another must-see is the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery - an institution which benefits from a clifftop setting which it has kept for over 135 years.

You're bound to get hungry with all the things to see and do; Gogarty recommends Plantagent House as one of the many great places to discover beautiful food locally.
