As part of his new television series, A Great Welsh Adventure with Griff Rhys Jones, the famed presenter is visiting Pembrokeshire in episode three. Airing at 8pm on Monday 20th January on ITV1, Jones will take to the Pembrokeshire landscape and explore what has made the beautiful county what it is today.

The episode involves Jones exploring a different side to the county’s popular summer trade that sees the booking of Tenby holiday cottages rocket, as he attempts coasteering, Pembrokeshire Welsh Corgi walking and a visit to the Melin Treqwnt textile mill. Throughout the episode, the Welsh-born Rhys Jones goes back to his roots and discovers what makes Pembrokeshire’s renowned coastline so special.

Having been the setting of such Hollywood hits as Harry Potter and Robin Hood, Pembrokeshire’s enviable beaches and coastline has been a popular destination for UK summer holidays for many years and, as this Powells article mentions, this popularity only looks set to grow in the foreseeable future.
