What's on in Saundersfoot: March
Come rain or shine, as we welcome the start of spring Saundersfoot has plenty of events to entertain its visitors this month. March will see the area come alive with performances that are sure to lift even the dampest of spirits after this winter’s bad weather. From renowned comedy acts to orchestral delights, West Wales is showing there is plenty going on even before the Easter holidays.
Comedy Club: Andrew Bird & Johnnie Price
Those in need of a good laugh will have to get themselves down to The Queen’s Hall in Narberth on the 13th March for an 8pm start. Having toured with Rhod Gilbert, Andrew Bird certainly knows how to pick an audience up. As the perfect act to see on Saundersfoot cottage holidays this spring, Bird puts on a show that takes an in-depth look at village life, with plenty of aspects and traits visitors may recognise on their travels.
Bird is joined by the energetic comedian Johnny Price, who has been described as ‘Billy Connelly on steroids’ and comes with the high acclaim of being dubbed “One of the most talented out there” by Scott T Fitzgerald, Organiser of the Cardiff Comedy Festival.
60s Tribute Night at Regency Hall
Now for some nostalgia as the local Rotary puts on their long-awaited 60s Tribute Night at Saundersfoot’s Regency Hall. Taking place on Saturday 22nd March with doors opening at 4.30pm, this brilliant event is expected to go on until late.
Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra
The brilliant Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra is coming to Pembrokeshire on Saturday 29th March at the popular Folly Farm attraction. Usually a hit with children and families staying in coastal Pembrokeshire cottages who are looking to see the wide range of wild animals, Folly Farm will now play host to one of the greatest musical ensembles to have come out of Wales. Tickets are just £12 and doors will open at 7pm.
