Pembrokeshire is set to be alive with visitors this Easter break; a series of retro-style posters have reached national acclaim after winning a number of awards since being launched at Cardiff Airport.

Following Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority’s success in securing a proportion of the Welsh Government funding made available to local authorities to improve tourism prospects, the National Park has launched a stunning poster campaign.

The stunning retro designs feature iconic Pembrokeshire images that regulars of Tenby cottage accommodation will find familiar, including romantic coastal cliff top walks, Pembrokeshire’s golden sands and local wildlife. The beautiful images have already prompted sales of copies of the posters around the world as tourism officials hope they will display what a unique and beautiful holiday experience Pembrokeshire has to offer.

The poster campaign has been recognised with a series of awards, including a 2013 Canmol Wales Marketing Award as well as being acknowledged in the categories of ‘Leisure and Tourism’, ‘Customer Communication’ and ‘Consumer Excellence’ at the 2014 UK Marketing Design Awards.
