Pembrokeshire is a land of stunning beauty, especially at this time of the year with winter now in full swing. If you are enjoying a cottage break in Pembrokeshire and fancy a change from the beautiful scenery, here are some great events you should be checking out on your Pembrokeshire holiday in January.

The Bully Wee Band with Phil Beer

If you’re keen for a fantastic evening of live music, be sure to head off to Burnett’s Hill Chapel in Martletwy for a performance by the Bully Wee Band with Phil Beer, who are famed as legends of Celtic folk-rock during the 1970s and 80s. Performing at the venue on 21 January from 7.30pm, they will be performing as part of the annual reunion tour. Tickets are now available for £10 each by calling 01646 621530 or 01646 651725.

Dick Whittington at the Pembroke Town Hall

Dick Whittington is the pantomime story that could prove a real hit during your cottage holiday in Pembrokeshire. Set to feature at Pembroke Town Hall on 17 January, the best aspect of this pantomime is that it’s completely free to attend, making it a fine event to enjoy with the family. Not too far for those enjoying a Tenby cottage break, it promises to be an excellent spectacle for the whole family.

Wine Tasting with Pictures

Wine tasting is probably the last thing you would think of enjoying while visiting Pembrokeshire in the winter, but that’s exactly what Kingsley Chesworth is offering at the Moylegrove Old School Hall on 30 January. With tickets costing just £5, those interested are recommended to call the venue directly on 0845 519 2791.

These are just three of the best events you can enjoy in Pembrokeshire throughout the month. If there are any goings on we’ve missed, feel free to let us know through our Facebook page.
