What’s on in Pembrokeshire: May 2015
As the weather starts to become more reliable, there’s plenty going on in Pembrokeshire to make the most of the great outdoors and this fine area of the UK. Whether you are making the most of a bank holiday or are taking the kids away on a half term Pembrokeshire cottage holiday break, there will be something for all visitors to enjoy in the county this month.
Here we round up some of the best events to add to your diary.
Festival of Motorcycles Show
First up is an event with a difference and one that is sure to attract a fair few petrol heads. The Pembrokeshire Vintage and Classic Motorcycle Club meet every month and locals and regular visitors to the areas of Narberth and Tenby will have seen, or at least heard, them before. But this event is sure to be even more spectacular as they invite a great range of bikes to Milford Marina on the 3rd May for one great meet.
Haverfoodfest is the inaugural Haverfordwest food festival that is being launched by broadcaster food writer, food consultant and former celebrity chef Angela Gray on the 9th May. Taking place just off the town centre, there will be up to 40 stalls for visitors to peruse and an event kitchen where local chefs, alongside the famed Ms Gray, will be demonstrating their skills.
Really Wild Festival
If that didn’t quite satisfy your appetite then the Really Wild Festival in St Davids surely will. The food and countryside festival is to return over the 23rd and 24th May for a tenth year and is promised to be bigger and better than ever before. There will be produce and products from local suppliers and plenty of events taking place throughout the course of the festival. See their website for more details.
