Description

Magnificent holiday home in Gwbert with inspiring sea views. This 5 star holiday cottage is located near Cardigan and can sleep 6. From the front of the house you can gaze out to sea and even see the dolphins in the bay on a clear day. A links golf course runs alongside the house. This is the ideal base to relax and explore North Pembrokeshire and West Wales.

 

Ground floor

Large fully equipped island kitchen with rangemaster double over and 6 ringed gas hob, full sized fridge, microwave, toaster dining table with seating for 8.

Glass fronted open porched area ideal as part of the lounge, looking out across the Bay. Comfy lounge seating with sofas to sit 6. TV, DVD and CD player. Interesting antique and oriental furniture throughout the property including a coffee table made from a camel cart.

Second diing area or reading / writing room adjoins the lounge. Table and chairs for 4 and a desk / large vanity station.

Utility room with full sized freezer, washing machine, basin and storage.

Cloakroom accessed via small flight of stairs, wc and basin.


1st floor

Bedroom 1 - Master king sized bedroom with en-suite. Walk in shower in en-suite. Large room with amazing sea views.

Bedroom 2 - Double bedroom, again with stunning sea views.

Bedroom 3 - Twin bedroom looking out to the rear of the property. Beds do not link can be pushed together to act as a double.

Master bathroom with bath with shower over bath, wall length mirror, wc and basin.


Outside

Front lawn area with water feature, stunning uninterupted sea views out across from front law. (water feature is fed by spring that may dry up during exceptional dry weather)


Rear terrace and garden area with garden furniture to sit out and enjoy.

Bed linen and towels provided.

Electricity & central heating included. Underfloor heating.

High chair, travel cot and stair gate available on request. Please bring your own bed linen for the cot.

The following items are also provided at the cottage for your stay… Kitchen: salt and pepper, kitchen roll, washing up liquid/dishwasher tabs, new dishcloths and scourer, Bathroom: soap and 2 toilet rolls per toilet. General cleaning products: bleach, shower cleaner, anti-bacterial spray etc.

No smoking inside and no pets.

Please note although water features in gardens are shallow, young children should not be left unsupervised around these.

Had a really great week at this lovely property. The view is gorgeous and difficult to tear yourself away from. There is a nice cliff walk to the local beach which is accessed by fairly steep steps, so maybe not ideal for everyone, but plenty of other beaches to visit just a short drive away. Overall a great location for a relaxing holiday and a wonderfully comfortable home too go back to after a day's walking and exploring the area. Would definitely return.

Here to celebrate my 30th birthday and had such a wonderful time in this house. The view is unforgettable and such a pleasure to wake up to each morning. We went to Poppit Sands and walked the trail. We would recommend Crwst in Cardigan for great food and coffee and the Cliff Hotel for a drink with a view.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a wonderful week we've had! The view is simply breath taking and we have been spoilt by the most beautiful sunsets. A great place to explore the area. We particularly liked Aberporth, Llangrannog, Poppit sands, Cwm yr Eglwys and Tresaith. Crwst in Cardigan was delicious. Pizza Tipi by the river was lovely too. We took advantage of the well equipped kitchen and did some baking. Many games of Rummicub were enjoyed. Hope to return in the future.

This holiday house is in the perfect location and the views have been amazing all week. Something different to see every day. Saw the dolphins at breakfast. We have hardly had to use the car as we have discovered everything to explore on the doorstep. Found three different coves on walk past the hotel. Walked to Mwnt - so enjoyable along the coastal path - lovely cafe serves great coffee. Cilgerran Castle is lovely with riverside walks. The house did not disappoint we have everything we need - so much thought jas been put into it to make it lovely, clean and inviting. A memorable holiday had by all!

Amazing house! Amazing location! We loved watching the sunsets from the garden every evening. We loved swimming at the local beach past the Cliff Hotel. We had fresh fish @Catch of the Day@ from Cardiga. We bought some lovely food from the produce market at St Dogmaels. Breakfast at Crwst was fantastic - definitely recommend going early. Went on a dolphin watching experience We saw dolphins, seals and gulls. It was great seeing the house from the bay. Luckily we saw dolphins from the house on most evenings. The deli in Cardigan is worth a visit. P.S best equipped kitchen ever!

The perfect view to watch the sunset and the dolphins. We had such a lovely week. Poppit Sands and Mwnt were lovely and the beaches past the Cliff Hotel. Enjoyed visiting Tenby, New Quay, Cardigan and Aberystwyth where we went up the railway to the top of the hill. Stunning part of Wales - and plenty of room for us all.
