Reviews

I would recommend this cottage to anyone whether you have a dog or not. The location was perfect and the cottage was a cosy little retreat to return to at the end of each day.

Mr J,

If you're looking for perfection, this is it. A beautifully-arranged cottage, thoughtfully and attractively furnished and decorated, comfortable, well equipped, cosy, peaceful, with plenty of room for the two of us. Lots to do in Pembrokeshire; the Coastal Path, castle, gardens, interesting towns and villages, and (although we self-catered for every day but one) good opportunities for eating out. Your hosts are warmly welcoming, too!

Mr B,

Very rural yet access to main roads. Very friendly hosts and great facilities on the farm. Highly recommended for couple or family

Miss N,

Second visit. Lovely hosts. Lovely spot. Well equipped. Warm and cosy and well positioned for beaches and exploring the local area. Great for the dogs and children are well catered for. A home from home. We will definitely go back.

Ms M,

We arrived to the cutest cottage. The 2 dogs were made just as welcome as us. Colin and Tina were lovely and really helpful in providing with dog friendly days out. Even though the weather was appalling, we had such a lovely time on their farm.

Miss M,

Fantastic stay. Perfect location for accessing main attractions. Idyllic rural retreat for a peaceful stay and happy holiday memories.

Mrs S,

The owners were lovely and very helpful on where to go etc.The accommodation is absolutely first class and hard to beat. The location of the farm overlooks a woodland which was full of birds singing.Would not hesitate to return to this property.

Mr N,

The hosts provided such a friendly and personal experience, and it really added to our holiday. I don't think you can get this sort of experience through booking a hotel or BNB.

Miss Veronika N,

The cottage , although small was very comfortable and well equipped. The hosts, Tina and Colin were very welcoming and helpful. We had an excellent break here. Would happily recommend and return ourselves.

Mrs Alix G,

Its a fantastic cottage. Tina, Colin and the whole family were lovely and very welcoming.

Mrs Katie C,

Highly enjoyable mini break with clear communication however too many repeat messages which can detract from your relaxation!

Mrs Marie B,

The cottage was a perfect size for a couple and two dogs. We liked the decor. The rural location was wonderful. Field adjacent for dog walking in the morning and evening. Longer walks to explore around the cottage and farm. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and full of knowledge about the local area eg restaurants, cafes, beaches and other places to visit. Everywhere in this area seemed to be very dog friendly. Original cottages kept us well informed the whole way through the process from booking to actual holiday.. Excellent! We look forward to booking this cottage or another in the area very soon. We had a fantastic winter break. Thank you.

Mr Nigel O,

The hosts were so lovely and helpful, cottage was just what we needed. Fantastic activities for dog and children.

Mrs Natasha D,

Very lovely hosts; good facilities and knowledge of local area. Felt very welcomed, we enjoyed greatly!

Mr John W,

Such a beautiful location, the hosts were wonderful, caring and very knowledgeable about the area. The accommodation was fantastic both practical and gorgeous.

Mr Emma B,

Location

Penderry is a pretty traditional farmhouse set in the tranquil countryside of Lampeter Vale. It is an ideal holiday base for families, walkers and nature lovers. Children will love exploring the orchards, woods and stream (all safely tucked well away from the road). There are friendly farm pets, swings and a large well equipped games room.

If you can tear yourself away from the idyllic surroundings of this property then Pembrokeshire has lots to offer.

Narberth is just a 10 minute car drive, a pleasant market town with the main High Street offering lots of independent shops  - a chemist, souvenir shops, grocers, cake shop, delicatessen just to mention just a few. Narberth does have a castle although not much remains today, it maybe better travelling to Pembroke or Carew castles for more impressive fortifications. The beautiful sandy beach of Amroth is only 15 minutes car drive away or head for the busier resorts of Saundersfoot or Tenby both of which provides beautiful sandy beaches, shops for everyone, cafes and pubs for lunch or restaurants for fine dining.

Pembrokeshire has many fabulous beaches, Tenby has its fair share too!
