A short walk through the sandy dunes takes you to South Beach. Hurt my legs on main bed wooden corners need rounding off or padding, used small towels for protection. Mattress could do with a topper. Everything else was great.

Great base for exploring the area. Would have scored top points apart from the following:- The property information didn't include the fact that we were directly above another apartment and the notes when we arrived highlighted that soundproofing wasn't great. We didn't have any problem as the adjacent apartment was empty but we were very aware that we might be inconveniencing the people below us particularly as the floors were bare wood. Facilities were good but we couldn't find the iron which we could have done with and the shelving in the fridge could do with a bit of attention. None of the above was a major problem and we had a great week

Location

This superb apartment is comfortably furnished and very well equipped, with the benefit of sea views from the lounge. Situated in an elevated position on Strawberry Lane in the pretty village of Penally, this two bedroom apartment is perfect for a couple of a small family. Shared rear garden with garden furniture to relax in the evening. Penally is a pretty,  popular village approximately 2 miles from the seaside resort of Tenby and has great charm and character and has a wealth of history and interesting features within its confines to be discovered.  There is a a village shop, friendly village pub and restaurants, plus railway station.  Surrounded by beautiful walking areas and close to the beach and coastal path, this is a very relaxing part of Pembrokeshire.  A 15 - 20 minute walk will take you into Tenby town or on to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path leading to Tenby's South Beach in one direction and Lydstep Beach in the other.  Just a short drive away you will find two golf courses and theme parks such as Heatherton, Manor Wildlife Park, The Dinosaur Park, Folly Farm & Zoo.  Manorbier Castle and Carew Castle are just a short distance away too.
