Reviews

Beautiful property it had everything we needed and more for our stay. I would highly recommend and also the location was stunningly beautiful

Mr S,

We honestly had the best time in Saundersfoot and Tenby too, Cilrhedyn was beautiful and a wonderful place to stay, we would definitely book to stay again.

Mrs Leah F,

Thank you for a lovely stay and has been the best place we have stayed in

Miss S,

Thank you for letting us stay in this AMAZING bungalow! Every single person has loved staying here. It was so lovely and tidy when we arrived, first impression was amazing. Thank you for the lovely Welsh cakes and homemade shortbread, they were all delicious. Also thanks for the prosecco and beer. The bedrooms were so neat and tidy, the kitchen was an amazing space to be in, the lounge, very comfy sofas and a big TV for us all to watch movies together. The garden - a lovely big space for our dog to play in and run around. The hot tub was probably one of the best things - loved it! A peaceful location for the bungalow, calming and relaxing. Short walk to the seaside/beach, and all the shops were lovely. All in all, would definitely come again, beautiful house and Saundersfoot is truly amazing! Thank you very much, 5*!

Mrs Vanessa A,

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The situation of the bungalow is perfect for all the lovely restaurants in Saundersfoot and within easy walking distance. The property living space is great as was all the equipment provided..

Mrs M,

Lovely holiday home in a lovely location very nice hot tub, weather beautiful, loved it. We would love to come again.

Mr Stephen W,

Thank you for a lovely week. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely peaceful spot. My husband who spent many holidays in Pembrokeshire as a child, has relived his youth. Hope to come back one day.

The R,

Lovely property. The only downside was the garden from a dog perspective as not enclosed.

Ms Pamela R,

The 5 of us really enjoyed our week's stay in your beautiful holiday home. The main living area with its home comforts and beautiful view of the rolling countryside certainly helped us unwind and relax. The amazing weather enabled us to use the hot tub everyday which added to the relaxation. Elfie the Pom enjoyed patrolling the garden and we were pleased we had packed the dog fencing as we are sure he may have found his way out. Thank you for the homemade treats and alcohol nicely chilled. We will tell friends about this gem in this lovely area of Wales. We wish you well with the forthcoming season as we are sure any guests staying here would have an equally enjoyable time in your beautiful home. Thank you!

Mr Daryl R,

We had a wonderful time in Cilrhedyn. It is a beautiful bungalow.

Mr Rob G,

One of our best New Year breaks as a family! Such a beautiful clean home with so much to do. We enjoyed hours in the hot tub and hours spent playing games. We visited Saundersfoot most days and loved the fireworks on the harbour to see in 2023! One of us even braced the New Year’s Day swim! We enjoyed the homemade shortbread and Welsh cakes and the fantastic hospitality from our hosts especially when our car broke down on check out day! We hope to return in the Summer! Thank you

Mr Andy G,

Fantastic house in a great location. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Loved the hot tub and all the treats provided. Would definitely stay again.

Mrs Lesley F,

Wow! What an amazing 'home from home'. We have had everything that you could think of available for us here and the Prosecco, Beer and gorgeous treats were such a bonus - Thank you. It's lovely to be so close to everything that it's in walking distance, but to experience the quietness of the surroundings, best of both worlds! We've been so lucky with the weather and made the most of the luxury of the hot tub. Thank you for an amazing stay xx

Mrs Sara G,

Location

Cilrhedyn is positioned in peaceful and tranquil surroundings, a short walk from the heart of Saundersfoot village with its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and pubs for a refreshing drink. The working harbour is where you can venture out on a daily fishing trip or a leisurely boat trip. An ideal base for a beach holiday. The beaches are sandy with ice cream kiosks and water sports.

Take a stroll through the old tunnels at Coppet Hall to eat out at  top restaurant Coast or continue on to Wisemans Bridge with a beachfront pub serving good food.

Enjoy a leisurely walk or bike ride along the Stepaside Heritage Park which is full of history and once used for the local railway.

If you enjoy historical sites and monuments then Pembrokeshire will not disappoint, visit Carew Castle with its very own Tidal Mill displaying how water was used through the ages, Manorbier Castle which was once controlled by the Earls of Pembroke and the mysteries of Pentre Ifan.

Pembrokeshire is a great destination for walkers with 186 miles of coastal footpaths.  Bosheston Lily ponds provides a lovely walk with an abundant supply of wildlife, keep your eyes peeled for an otter. This leads onto a delightful sandy beach at Broad Haven South which is also good for a spot of surfing.

Take a trip to Tenby which has lots of pretty coloured houses which line the harbour front. There is lots to see and do in Tenby with a museum which is small and informative, the Tudor Merchants House (NT) to visit and a horse and carriage to venture around the cobbled streets. Enjoy the many boat trips on offer, visiting Caldey Island home of the Cistercian monks, there are trips to Skomer Island to see the Puffins or leisurely boat trips around the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastline.
