Reviews

Fantastic location with excellent views.

Miss I,

Lovely location we have stayed here twice we love this upside down house with its balcony view of the sea. Some things like the garden and balcony furniture could do with updating and a tumble dryer would help to dry any clothes we would stay here again

Mrs Daphne A,

Location

The Retreat is set in an elevated position overlooking Saundersfoot village and takes advantage of the lovely sea views.

Saundersfoot has beautiful sandy beaches, a working harbour and a village atmosphere with an array of shops from grocers, bakeries serving fresh bread and cakes and a butchers shop. There are plenty of gift shops with souvenirs to remind you of your Pembrokeshire holiday.

Tenby is just 3 miles away with three stunning beaches, harbour and lots of independent shops to browse around.  There is a lifeboat station where you can support the good work of the RNLI and learn about their history.  There are fishing trips and leisure trips leaving Tenby harbour, trips to Caldey Islands to see the monastery and Skomer Island which is home to a colony of puffins!

There are lots of wildlife adventure parks, Folly Farm is a top attraction with a range of animals from lions, giraffes, camels and penguins.  There is also an indoor Victorian fair with a ghost train and horse carousel.  There are also both indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids to enjoy.

Pembrokeshire is steeped in history and there are lots of sites to visit.  Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier Castles have lots of events happening throughout the year, such as falconry displays, ghostly evenings and art and craft days.
