Description

Hill Cottage is a delightful cottage overlooking Saundersfoot Harbour and sandy beach with one of the best panoramic views in the village. Ideal for 6. This self-catering accommodation is perfect for a family holiday and bring along the dogs too.

Dining Area: Table and chairs. Electric effect flame fire. Sea Views.

Step into Kitchen: Cooker with gas hob, electric oven, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher. Nespresso machine.

Utility room: Washer Machine, Tumble Drier, Microwave.

Bathroom 1: Shower room with shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet.

Narrow staircase: Beware of low ceilings

Bedroom 1: Master double bedroom with sea views

Ensuite: Shower cubicle, wash hand basin and toilet

Bedroom 2: Small bunk bedded room (only suitable for children) low ceilings

Bedroom 3: Double bedroom with sea views

OTHER INFORMATION

Pets: 2 pets welcome (pets are welcome in the kitchen and utility area only)

Parking: Parking for 2 small cars, or 1 medium car.

Garden/Patio: Leading from utility area. Lower Patio area with small table.  Shallow steps to upper terrace with private decked area with garden furniture and views over Saundersfoot beach and coastline. Not suitable for the infirm. Young children not to be left unattended.

Heating: Full central heating 

Short Breaks: Short breaks accepted but not in peak weeks.

Beach/Shops/Pubs: 5 minute walk

Notes: Towels and linen provided. Some beach towels provided. Mobile phone signal variable throughout. Wi-Fi. Visitors to provide logs for the woodburner. Saturday - Saturday check in days

We had a really lovely stay at Hill Cottage in Saundersfoot. The location could not have been better. Great views of the beach and harbour from both bedrooms, the dinning room and living room. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts have provided everything their guests could possibly need. The top terrace is a private and sunny area to sit for breakfast and in the evening. This also has great views of the beach and surrounding countryside. It was great to be able to have a private parking spot outside the house, though you do need to have one member of your party on the pavement opposite to wave the driver back into the road when clear, as the parking is on a corner. We never had any problems with this aspect though.

Location

Hill Cottage is located on St Brides Hill with stunning sea and harbour views from most rooms and a short walk to the town centre. Private parking for 2 cars.

Tenby is a short drive or bus ride away and has plenty of shops and cafes for all to enjoy. There are three main beaches in Tenby, North, South and castle beach. A 20 minute trip will take you over to Caldey island there are also boat trips to  Skomer where you will see puffins, seals and maybe a dolphin or two.

Local family attractions such as the Manor Wildlife Park, Heatherton,  Folly Farm are also within easy reach and provide a great day out.  There is also Oakwood Theme Park with roller coasters and other rides and attractions.

Pembrokeshire is steeped in history and has a number of castles to explore, Pembroke, Manorbier and Carew Castle and many more.

There is also the coastal footpath if its walking you enjoy and is also ideal for cyclist.

Pembrokeshire is ready to be discovered.
