Those hoping to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing Pembrokeshire family holiday will be glad to hear that Tenby's summer pedestrianisation scheme will be in force from this weekend onwards.

Tenby's summer pedestrianisation scheme will see the town centre of Tenby become mostly traffic free from 11am until 5pm every day, perfect for those who would prefer to explore the pretty seaside town without the disruption and fumes of traffic. Only certain vehicles will be allowed to enter the town centre during these times, including harbour permit users and those who need to access holiday accommodation.

Access for emergency service vehicles will also be allowed, but the core area of Tenby that covers Church Street, Tudor Square and parts of the High Street will be largely traffic free.

The pedestrianisation scheme will be in place from Saturday 20th July until Sunday 1st September, making now a great time to book a holiday in Tenby.
