Cottages for Couples

Escape to Pembrokeshire for a romantic break away.

Not only has Pembrokeshire got fantastic scenery to offer -  but there are a whole host of attractions and activities for you to take part in and enjoy together.  There are over 50 beaches to discover from tiny coves to vast expanses of sand and from these you have the opportunity to indulge in an array of watersports.  From Tenby's shores you can control your own jet skis around Caldey Island, this is home to the Cistercian monks. Experience the thrill of the jet ski along with the seals, dolphins, puffins and other wildlife.  There are also kayaks to hire, either one or two seaters, take a picnic you may find a secluded spot away from the crowds.

Try a section of the coastal path taking in the scenery and the sea air stopping off at one of the many local pubs for a well-earned drink and a snack.  Whichever section you choose your bound to find some spectacular sites and beautiful beaches - if you’re taking a dog please check as certain ones do have restrictions imposed.

Tenby is a vibrant and busy town in the Summer with a cafe culture feel as cars are banned from the main High Street, the cafes and restaurants have tables and chairs out in the streets and there really is a great atmosphere.  There are lots of places to have lite bites in the daytime and three course meals in the evenings.  On Coppet Hall beach Thomas Hine the Head Chef prepares food at 'Coast' with a stunning panoramic beach scene through the windows an ideal place for a romantic meal or a celebration.

Tenby has a number of independent shops to browse around and also has a RNLI Lifeboat station where you can take a look around, the National Trust Tudor Merchants House and a museum perched on Castle Hill, from which the views are captivating.  A couple of miles from Tenby is the pretty coastal village of Saundersfoot which again has a smaller selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

The Blue Lagoon near the market town of Narberth, is a fun water park with indoor slides, a lazy river and a wave machine - great for those rainy days.  Just down the road from this is Oakwood Theme Park where you can go on the white knuckle rides of Megaphobia and Speed! - but there are more sedate rides to enjoy.

Whatever the season Pembrokeshire is a lovely place for a couple to either chill out and kick back or really get out there and take part in all the fantastic activities on offer.  Check out our property listings below and book your great escape now.
