Red phone box in Pembrokeshire becomes information centre

An interesting new tourist information centre has opened in Pembrokeshire, which stands as perhaps one of the smallest of its kind.

Following the purchase of an old red telephone box in Sardis, the Saundersfoot Community Council – with help from local volunteers – have transformed the box into a font of knowledge for the surrounding area.

It features a special information panel, which was created thanks to a collaborative effort between Sardis Parks and Gardens and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, and was funded by a grant from the Welsh Government through Environment Wales. The 'centre' also provides details on local wildlife and good footpaths, and tells visitors more about the region's wealth of agricultural and industrial history.

If you are soon to be heading off on your cottage holidays in Saundersfoot, why not use the unique information centre to learn more about the great experiences the area offers?
