From fairs to castle grounds, this What’s On guide will take you through all the great events going on this April.
Banff Mountain Film Festival
Before the excitement of Easter weekend commences, there is one event to interest the adrenaline junkies making the most of the sports that coastal Pembrokeshire cottage holidays are famous for. The UK and Ireland Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour comes to Pembrokeshire’s Torch Theatre on the 8th April at 7.30 pm, showcasing extraordinary footage of some of the world’s most extreme sports – meaning this one will be great for the kids too!
Easter Fairs- Haverfordwest and Pembroke
Pembrokeshire enjoy Easter so much that they are playing host to not one but two Easter fairs during April. The Harverfordwest fair on Saturday 12th April will be taking place between 2-5pm at the Merlins Bridge Welfare Hall and will feature all kinds of stalls for visitors to browse. The Pembroke Easter Fayre will be taking place on the 17th April at Foundry House Community Centre between 10am-2pm, consisting of an Easter egg hunt, cakes, a table top sale and much more.
Easter Egg Hunt at Cilgerran Castle
From one Easter Egg hunt to another as Cilgerran Castle participates in the Cadbury’s Easter Egg Hunt in association with the National Trust between the 18th and 21st April between 10am-4pm. The hunt costs just £1.50 per trail with normal admission charges applying, and the castle is encouraging visitors to the area enjoying Easter breaks in Tenby cottages to come up at ‘eggsplore’ the castle grounds in the hunt for a Cadbury’s Easter Egg.
