Wales launches TV ad for family holidays

A brand new television advert launched earlier this month is aiming to promote the beauty of Wales to the rest of the world, with families being targeted as a major focus of the campaign.

With families being hugely important to the overall tourism of Wales, whether in terms of family getaways in Pembrokeshire or other regions of the country, the advert looks to advertise the wealth of activities and adventures that can be enjoyed by visitors both young and old.

The Visit Wales campaign, entitled 'Have you Packed for Wales?', marks the start of a surge of marketing activity in the coming months, one that looks to attract visitors to the region from both the UK and overseas. Many will be looking to book their summer holiday plans over the next few months, and it’s hoped the campaign could help sway their decision towards a memorable stay in Wales.

Wales offers so much for young families

Among the attractions which the campaign is looking to highlight is Folly Farm, an adventure park and zoo based in Pembrokeshire which already attracts over 400,000 visitors every year. It serves as a popular day out for those staying in cosy holiday cottages in Tenby and other regions nearby. When speaking about the campaign, Folly Farm’s Head of Marketing, Zoe Wright, said that Wales is so appealing to young families because there is so much for them to enjoy.
