Whether you’re visiting the county in the Easter holidays or are staying in a Pembrokeshire cottage for an off-peak break, there are plenty of events to keep all interests occupied. From Easter egg trails for smaller children to music and sporting events, Pembrokeshire is certainly the place to be during April.

Cadbury Easter Egg Trail at Stackpole

Experience the magic of Easter with a collaboration from Cadbury and the National Trust, which invites all ages to come and explore Lodgepark woods in search of a sweet treat. The trail begins in Courtsite, where those taking part will be given a map and a set of clues. From finding the ice house to the stone seat, it’s an exciting opportunity that will get all the family involved. The hunt will be taking place this weekend from Good Friday until Easter Monday, and will cost just £3 per person.

Milford Haven Music Festival

As one the most highly anticipated events in the Welsh music calendar, the Milford Haven Music Festival is set to be even more spectacular this year, especially with Karl Jenkins being a patron. As one of Wales’ most famous ambassadors of music, the festival has been endorsed to include performances of his works, which will be presented alongside a number of international artists. The concert will take place on 18th April at St Katherine’s Church for the first time and will include a candlelit opera, which includes a number of promising young stars.

Tour of Pembrokeshire

Whether you wish to participate or simply spectate, the Tour of Pembrokeshire is a fantastic sporting event that you will not want to miss out on. More than 1,300 cyclists have so far signed up for the tour, which has a choice of 50, 70 and 100-mile routes depending on the rider’s ability. Each starts and ends in the picturesque city of St David’s, before heading in the direction of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. For those wishing to spectate and soak up the atmosphere, the cyclists will be departing from approximately 7.30am until 9am.
