Reviews

Absolutely wonderful holiday home for our family of 14. There was so much for everyone to do in the house so didn’t have to worry about weather. Wonderful gardens and views, and so many lovely walks and places to visit. We would love to come again!!

Mrs G,

Penmaen house is a large old house with lovely views from the grounds . It also benefits from footpath access from the grounds to not only the nearby beach and great beach walks but also to the coast path between Three Cliffs Bay and Oxwich which is a beautiful area.

Mrs H,

We stayed here for my 60th Birthday with a group of friends and we all had a fantastic time , I highly recommend this house and location . So peaceful and gave a very relaxing atmosphere with French Country House vibes plus fantastic views. But if you want some activities there is plenty on offer and a well kept Swimming Pool plus a footpath nearby down to the beach. We would love to return one day again, so pleased to have found this Gem. Karl. All

Mr E,

Lovely location and overall range of facilities although some were not working up to standard which was disappointing given the description and rental cost.

Mr Richard M,

Absolutely beautiful property in perfect location for beach and a short drive to country parks and pubs close by. Swansea town also only a short drive away so has everything a big family could need for a perfect holiday come rain or shine. Even photo spots in the garden with features in keeping with the beauty of the area.

Mrs Ruth E,

A lovely location and a good size house but I am disappointed to say I would not recommend it or revisit in its current state. Reasons listed below: Too cluttered to keep clean Moth eaten carpets Broken bathroom facilities No lock on pool door had to move a cupboard to ensure 4yr old didn’t get in. No lights in sauna broke during our stay spoke to Ros but no follow up. No welcome pack useful to know when bin day etc is No very OAP step father fell off broken toilet seat. No bags to put bed sheets/towels in. Wi fi patchy Using a basket on the lawn mower would have stopped us having to brush all the outdoor chairs/ tables twice. Inventory needs updating second dishwasher had no shelves in it and water in the bottom. Ventilation poor in the laundry room if using the tumble dryer. This house has such potential but needs investment to make it worth the price it commands. Happy to talk about the experience and share photos.
