A beautiful coastal estate in Pembrokeshire has made a starring appearance in the Beano, a feature which is hoped to lead to further young people visiting the site.

Regarded by many as one of the jewels of the Welsh coastline, the Stackpole Estate has been kept in fantastic condition thanks to the tireless efforts of the National Trust and encompasses a number of beauty spots including Bosherton Lily Ponds and Barafundle Bay; the latter was voted the best beach in Britain by the Good Holiday Guide and consistently features in lists of the finest sandy stretches in both the UK and Europe, making it a perfect location to visit during your Pembrokeshire cottage holidays.

The estate recently featured in a special issue of the famous comic, with the iconic Dennis the Menace working alongside the National Kid's Trust Councillor and ambassador for cooking on a campfire, Kit Le Froy, to celebrate the location after it was voted the best place to cook a campfire in a National Trust Survey for its 50 Things To Do Before You're 11¾ campaign.
