The quality of their house was excellent, and we had a wonderful week away. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful and everything was very clean and to a very good standard. there were 5 of us, with 3 adult children, and there was plenty of room for us all. Although the properties are on a main road, in Maggies Cottage we didn't hear it, only when sitting outdid on the benches. There is a small freezer to share, but we didn't use it, but something to consider if you do freeze lots! Te TV was a small 19 inch one, which wasn't great for our kids (especially watching England play in the Euro's and for an Xbox that we brought). The wifi is from a booster, not a direct router in the property, so the signal is week and cannot support 5 people's devices. other than a technology issue (if you need these for a holiday!), this is a wonderful place to stay, and easy to get to everywhere around Tenby.
Maggies Cottage is positioned just off the A477, a great place to explore the county of Pembrokeshire and all it has to offer. There are so many great sandy beaches ranging from small coves to the large expanse of beach at Pendine Sands. Saundersfoot is close by with a selection of shops, a harbour and a couple of stunning beaches.
A short car journey will take you to the beaches at Freshwater West - its recommended to take a picnic or there are a couple of pubs on route! There is also the beach at Barafundle if you dont mind a bit of a trek but its well worth the walk if you can get there.
If you have children then Pembrokeshire is sure to entertain them with Folly Farm, Heatherton, Oakwood and Annas Welsh Zoo all providing great days out.
Historic sites at Pembroke Castle, Carew Castle, Castell Henllys are also ready for you to explore.
