Description
This delightful property is situated on a quiet country lane in the village of Begelly. With beautiful country walks straight from your door, it is perfect for you and your family or four
legged friends to enjoy the open countryside. The historical Miners Walk is close by and if you prefer the seaside to the country, the Blue Flag beaches and Coast Paths of
Saundersfoot (2.5 miles), Amroth, (4 miles) and Tenby (6 miles) are minutes away. Visit the charming market town of Narberth (5 miles) as featured in The Times Travel Review, with its
variety of independent shops and award winning cafes or Folly Farm Adventure Farm and Zoo, another award winning attraction, which is just 1 mile away and offers a great day out
for families with children of all ages.
The property is well laid out and upon entering the front hall you will find a large open plan lounge diner with comfortable seating centred around a cosy gas Woodburner style fire. A
perfect place to curl up with the family in front of the Smart TV at night and stream your favourite movies or programmes. There is also an eight-seater dining table to enjoy sociable
meals or family games nights. Double doors lead off the lounge into an additional lounge area known affectionally as ‘the library’, with a second TV, leather sofa, comfortable
armchairs and plenty of books to lose yourself in. Glass sliding double doors give a fabulous view of the rear lawned garden and open fields beyond. A perfect place to sit and enjoy
birdwatching, you may also see squirrels and an occasional pheasant! Adjacent to the lounge sits a generously proportioned farmhouse style kitchen, with breakfast bar seating
and a small cosy sofa, it offers ample space to prepare a meal for the family, picnic on the go or just another area to relax. Leading off from the kitchen is the rear entrance door to the
garden and utility room. The boot room style porch is a handy place for cleaning down muddy walking boots or pets. Back in the entrance hallway is a corridor leading to four
bedrooms, a spacious king room with vanity unit, a cosy double with en suite, a twin room and a bunk bedroom with a third pull out trundle bed. The family bathroom is located
opposite the twin and bunk rooms featuring a bath and free-standing shower – please note there is one step into the shower/wet room area and bathroom sink.
Externally, the cottage enjoys patios and pathways all around and a large wrap around lawned garden which can be enclosed when the driveway gates are shut. Featuring mature
shrubs, hedgerows and some stock fencing, the garden is a perfect place to relax and unwind with a great space for children to explore and play. A further patio and charcoal
BBQ area sits on the rear lawn under the apple trees complete with al fresco dining furniture offering the best spot to sit and watch the setting sun. For the romantics and star
gazers, there is no light pollution in the evening, and this shows off the starry Pembrokeshire night skies to perfection. The property is surrounded by neighbouring fields,
offering total privacy and tranquillity.
